The Friends of the Sutton Free Public Library will hold a book sale at the library on Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 9:30 a.m until 1:00 p.m.

Please help us by donating those great books you have collected over the years! You may drop off books at the library during regular hours until Friday, September 12th at 6:00 p.m.

Sorry, we can't accept encyclopedias, textbooks, or magazines. Thanks!!


Library News

The Teen Advisory Group will meet will meet on Thursday, August 28 at 10:00 AM. We will discuss upcoming young adult programs at the library and have breakfast treats. For more information, contact youth librarian, Carol Geary at 865-8752.


Job Opening
Library Page. The person in this position puts books away, maintains the shelves, processes and labels new materials, helps with craft preparation for Children's Programs and performs other duties as assigned. This position pays $8.00 per hour for 15 hrs/wk. The work hours are Wed 4-8, Thu 3-5, Fri 2-6 and Sat 10-3. If interested contact Roberta Rothwell, Library Director at 508-865-8752 or at rrothwell@cwmars.org. Library experience is a plus, but not required. Applicants will be given a basic computer skills test.
Senior Center Book Group
The Senior Center Book Group discussion will meet on September 4th at 12:30 PM at the Senior Center. We will be discussing "Ladies of Liberty" by Cokie Roberts. Extra copies are available at the library. All are welcome to attend the group to discuss or listen to the discussion.
Sutton Public Library

The Sutton Public Library ia a member of the Central Massachusetts Regional Library System (CMRLS) and the Central/Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing System (C/WMARS).  The Library is administered by an elected Board of Library Trustees.  Standards for library service are set by the Trustees and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, the state agency that supports, improves and promotes library services throughout the Commonwealth.
